Golf in Karawang
Karawang is a regency spread across the plains of West Java, east of Jakarta. It was once one of the leading rice-growing districts in West Java; today it is known instead as one of the largest industrial belts in Indonesia. Together with neighbouring Cikarang in Bekasi Regency, its industrial estates run in a line along the Jakarta–Cikampek toll road.
A great many Japanese manufacturing plants are concentrated along this corridor. From central Jakarta the drive heads east on the Jakarta–Cikampek toll road. Palm Springs Karawang stands at KM 47 of that road, right by the West Karawang exit, so the distance left to cover after leaving the toll road is short. Bear in mind, though, that this is also a freight artery, and it becomes congested at certain hours.

Administratively it sits in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, not Karawang Regency. It shares the same industrial belt as the other two Karawang courses and is used in much the same way, so we have grouped it on this page.

Its former name was Sedana Golf & Country Club. Local signage and older documents still use it, so it is worth noting both names when giving directions. Keep in mind too that there is a course called Palm Springs on Batam Island, so confirm that you are booking the Karawang Course. The site covers roughly 75 hectares, with lakes and streams laid out across gently rolling ground.
