The OB Golf Invitational stands among Indonesia’s most prestigious golf tournaments. First held in 2018, it has been staged as an official event on the Asian Development Tour (ADT), the Asian Tour’s secondary circuit, bringing together professionals—and eligible amateurs—from Indonesia and abroad. More than a competition, the OB Golf Invitational serves as a strategic platform for developing Indonesia’s golf ecosystem.
Its presence on the national golf calendar elevates the tournament into one of the country’s most awaited golf events, particularly by enthusiasts eager to witness the rise of fresh homegrown talent. Known for its strong competitive atmosphere and diverse pool of participants—from Indonesian players to international professionals—the tournament has become a proving ground where skill, precision, and mental endurance are consistently tested.
Beyond the competitive aspect, the OB Golf Invitational is also a hub for community networking and player development. Many young golfers use this event to expand their connections, meet players from various countries, and gain invaluable experience in a serious tournament setting. This aligns with OB Golf’s mission as an organizer: to actively promote golf through events, media coverage, and official publications.
Despite its elite-level intensity, the tournament maintains a friendly, developmental atmosphere—especially welcoming to emerging young golfers. While competition remains tight, players are encouraged to learn, improve, and grow. As a result, the OB Golf Invitational serves a dual role: a prestigious stage to showcase talent, and a developmental platform guiding Indonesian golfers to higher competitive levels.

Its prestige draws amateurs and professionals alike who aim to leave their mark on Indonesia’s golf landscape.
A defining moment in the tournament’s history occurred in 2022, when Naraajie Emerald Ramadhan Putra made headlines by winning the OB Golf Invitational at Damai Indah Golf’s BSD Course in June 2022—his very first start as a professional—for his maiden Asian Development Tour (ADT) title.
